RULES AND REGULATIONS

Students should realise that they are responsible to the school not only for their conduct in school but also for the general behaviour outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of the school on the part of student shall make him/her liable to disciplinary action.

Attendance and Behaviour
  1. School commences at 7:30 a.m. each day. Students must be on time.
  2. Parents can meet the Principal and class teachers on stipulated days after taking prior appointment.
  3. Students are required to be polite and respectful at all times towards teachers, fellow students and all members of the staff.
  4. Violence towards others, physical or verbal, (including bullying) is a very serious offence and could lead to immediate expulsion.
  5. Habitual idleness, irregular attendance, disobedience of conduct is injurious to the moral tone of the school and is sufficient reason for the rustication of a student. Bullying and use of foul language is a punishable offence.
  6. The school also reserves the right to remove from rolls those students whose diligence or progress in studies is unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful for other students.
School Premises
  1. Children are expected to wear their identity cards every day to the school.
  2. No student will leave the school premises during school hours (including the recess), without prior permission of the Head of the School.
  3. Running, pushing, shouting and whistling is strictly prohibited. Students should maintain discipline and speak softly in school premises.
School Uniform
  1. Students should present themselves in full school uniform neatly dressed.
  2. Students must come to school in neatly laundered uniform and polished black shoes and their nails must be cut regularly. Boys should get their hair cut properly and girls should not let their hair loose. Girls must wear black hair bands or rubber bands.
Leave
  1. The students are required to seek written permission for leave prior to the commencement of the leave. In case the leave is taken on medical ground, an authentic medical certificate has to be produced.
School Property
  1. School property should be handled with care and no student should scratch or damage furniture, scribble on the walls or cause damage in any way to any item belonging to the school. Any damage done will render the students liable for the recovery of damages. Besides a fine for negligence will be imposed.
  2. No books, (other than text books or library books) magazines, comics, pictures etc. may be brought to the school without prior permission of the Head of the school.
Personal Belongings
  1. The school is not responsible for goods or money lost. Therefore it is not advisable to bring any valuables (like expensive watches or ornaments) to school.
  2. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the school premises. If caught, the same will be confiscated.
Cleanliness
  1. Students should take pride in keeping the school clean. All the waste papers and other disposable materials should be thrown in the dustbin.
Personal Transport
  1. Cycles must be kept locked. Students should not ride around the school campus on cycles.
  2. The school will not take any responsibility if cycles are found missing or damaged. No students are allowed to come to school driving motorized vehicles.
